My Everyday Winter Makeup | BLOGMAS

Welcome to blogmas day 6! We're already halfway through! Today I'm sharing with you my daily makeup routine at the moment. As much as I love trying new makeup etc. we all fall into routines from time-to-time. When you fall in love with certain products, it only makes sense to reach for them without a second thought. I adore every product in my current routine and I'm excited to share them with you!

I've used the same base makeup for months now and I'm pretty sure I've got it down! I start off with the Nivea Express Hydration Primer which I mainly use as an extra moisturiser and something to create a layer between my skin & foundation. I follow with my (current) holy grail foundation, Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless

The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is by far the best drugstore concealer I've tried, it's hydrating & lightweight but it still has a good amount of coverage to it. I then finish off with a recent purchase, the Maybelline Matte Maker Powder (apparently I really like Maybelline face products...oops).

One of my favourite finds of 2017 has got to be the Makeup Geek Contour Powder, it has a great shade range varying from fair to dark, warm to cool. I use the shade 'Breakup' which is the best cool toned contour for pale skin. If you're looking for an affordable contour, I highly recommend this!

For blush & highlight, I've recently been loving this little compact from Elizabeth Arden. It has two blush shades and one light golden highlight. It's the perfect little size (travel friendly) and the shades are perfect.

I typically go in with the darker blush (the paler one isn't really my shade) then follow up with the highlight which is the perfect golden tone for paler skin! Unfortunately, you can't get this compact anymore as I believe it was limited edition.

I've been using the Anastasia Brow Wiz in the shade Taupe for the longest time now and I've gone through so many of them. I love the waxy texture of it, I find it always helps me to create my best brow! I follow up with a little bit of the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. Then of course I go in with my trusty Modern Renaissance palette, it's been a bae since day one. On a typical day I'll run a little bit of Warm Taupe & Realgar in my crease, Primavera on the lid and a tiny bit of Cyprus Umber to add further definition to the crease and lash-line.

I'm not using any eyeliner at the moment, I'll pop a little bit of black pencil on the tight-line every now and then, but apart from that I'm enjoying the liner free life. If I were to suggest a liquid liner, I would say the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liner is the best I've tried so far. The Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Waterproof mascara has been a favourite of mine for just over a year now and I'm not planning on letting it go anytime soon.

I don't typically wear the same lipstick everyday, it kinda depends on my mood, but I have found that these three are my current go-to's at the moment: Jeffree Star - I'm Shook, Kylie Cosmetics - Dolce K & Maybelline - Rich Ruby. I also line my lips using Mac Spice lip liner.
