Personal Q&A: Pregnancy Scares, Happiness & Periods!?

by - 10:00

If you're following me on social media, then you'll know that I've spent the majority of this past week in Scotland with my family. Since I knew I would be too busy to write a full/proper blog post, I came up with the idea of doing a Q&A. I've been taking your questions all week and chose the best ones to answer, here we go...

Have you ever had a pregnancy scare? If so, how did you deal with it?

Jumping in at the deep-end. I would be lying if I said that I've never thought I was pregnant (pretty much every month before I get my period or when I've ate too much and I'm a little bloated), but I've never had an actual scare before where I've had to take a test and whatnot.

How long do you think sex should last?

Well that depends on whether we're talking about the whole experience or just the intercourse part, but sex for me typically lasts around an hour or more (I'm not a quickie kinda gal). But sex is definitely a personal thing and there's no right time that it 'should' last.

Do you prefer spending time alone or with others?

I'm extremely half & half when it comes to this; of course I love spending time with people and I'm not going to lie, I can be very clingy at times, but I also need time alone. I would say that I prefer to spend time with others but it has to be the right people, but I still really appreciate my alone time.

Opinions towards revealing Instagram pics?

Truth time: I used to be one of those girls who judged others for revealing pictures, but that was because I really didn't understand it. Now, I do understand it and I'm totally there for it! It's 2017, if a girl (or boy) wants to show off their body with confidence, then go right ahead!

How do you stay happy?

Erm...I don't? Haha. No one in the entire world can always stay happy, but if I were to give some tips for happiness it would be to 1. always appreciate the little things in life and 2. don't buy into drama, not everything needs a reaction and it's way better to stay away from anything that may end in a headache.

Favourite YouTuber and why?

At the moment I'm reallllyyy loving Jackie Aina. Not only is she hilarious, but she stands up for the right things and you know she's genuine. If you haven't watched her videos, I highly suggest you do. Also, an all-time fave, Dan & Phil! Their videos (especially their baking & gaming vids) make me so happy and entertained, I end up re-watching them all the time.

What age did you start your period? Was it traumatic?

I started my period when I was around 13....I think? (genuinely can't even remember!). It wasn't traumatic for me at all, I had been waiting for it for so long, when it finally came I was like 'FINALLY!'. I remember I woke up in the morning and it was just...there. Then I got up, got ready and went to school as if nothing had happened. I came home from school and told my mam and she freaked out more than I did! But yeah as far as periods go, it was pretty chill.

If you had to choose, your best friend or your boyfriend?

Neither, they're both terrible people. Joking. Erm...honestly I couldn't choose. I'll have half of one and then half of the other and make a whole.

Would you ever be with a woman?

If I was single, yes. I would never be in a relationship with a woman, I don't find myself attracted to women emotionally, but sexually, yeah. I mean women are amazing, how could you not be attracted to them?!
